<\/span><\/p>\n In The WDC was formed in 2012 and in 2017, we began to revamp our mission. In 2018, we set a goal to boost support for local business and therefore began to host our meetings at local businesses, as well as started a new bi-annual event, \u2018Banter, Business, and Beverages,\u2019 to promote networking among community members of every kind! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In 2019, we met our goal of expanding our reach to a wider network of community members by hosting the Kids Mystery Event and a Teacher Nomination Giveaway. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Our goals for 2020 included bringing to life a mini grant program that would allow us to fund others\u2019 beautification and betterment projects in Wellsville, NY, which we are happy to say, we achieved and are now in our third year. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In 2021 we were able to purchase new string lights to wrap the light poles as well as two new holiday light toppers! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In 2022, we added 12 additional flower planters to line Main Street and finally brought back some of our traditional events as we found a new normal amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In 2023, we brought even more flower planters to Wellsville and partnered with the Wellsville Area Chamber of Commerce and a generous donor to restore the historic clock on Main Street!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In 2024, we partnered with the Wellsville Area Chamber of Commerce to celebrate their 100th Anniversary. To commemorate the historic occasion, we commissioned muralist Corinn Marriott to create a Wellsville mural project at 105 N.
